Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, the breadth is solid.
Platforms
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it lands.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
